Does this describe you:

  • Have you experienced a profound loss through death?
  • Are you walking through the loss of a close relationship through divorce or other tragedy?
  • Are you experiencing the impending loss of someone close to you?
  • Are you feeling like there is no hope – with stress, confusion, fear or anger about the world’s condition or other overwhelming pain?
  • Do you have a desire to be together with people who are attempting to address the same issue and receive fellowship?
  • Do you have a desire to learn more about how Biblical counseling is different from ordinary therapeutics?

Grief has so many faces – and those faces look like all of us.

We are planning an free evening where you can simply listen, or openly share your struggles. To share the human experience of grief. The Christian community at Liberty Baptist Church welcomes you to a free presentation investigating grief and how to respond when it comes followed by dessert.

Our Presenter:

Kari Peterson, Certified Biblical Counselor and Life Coach, has been offering care, support and encouragement to struggling individuals throughout her career. As the Stephens Ministry Director at a large South Metro church for 19 years, she has helped countless individuals find hope, healing and transformation through God’s grace. After serving as a Care Ministry Director for the past 11 years, she has acquired vast resources, ministry relationships, support groups and professional affiliations to assist in treating a wide variety of issues and situations. Kari feels, “the most qualified people to care for those who are hurting are those who have been broken themselves.”
