What is a worship service like?

Our worship is conservative, which means that we seek to conserve the best of what the church has practiced through the centuries.

We follow a liturgy that reflects the truth of the gospel we preach: It begins with adoration of God with whom all things begin; it moves to confession as we recognize our sinfulness in light of a holy God; we follow that with assurance and thanksgiving; which leads us into the proclamation of God’s Word that shapes us to walk in the righteousness we have in Christ.

Our singing consists of what we believe are the best of the psalms and hymns that the church has produced through the years. We strive for music that is singable for all, with lyrics that are suitable, serious, and doctrinally sound. Our singing is accompanied with pianos primarily. Once each month, usually on the first Sunday, we observe communion.
